招聘教员

清华大学自动化系智能与网络化系统研究中心

The Center for Intelligent and Networked Systems (CFINS) is a research and graduate education institution on brand new concept. Administratively it belongs to the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, and its inter-departmental activities are coordinated by the School of Information Science and Technology and the University. Its mission is to carry out world class research and to educate world class graduate students in light of the new development on intelligent and networked systems and needs of economic development in China. The current research themes of CFINS includes complex system and network theory, and economic and security issues, control and scheduling of networked systems.

The management and organization of CFINS are based on the principle of international collaboration and openness. Being the first research center of its kind, CFINS invited a specially qualified team from the US and China as visiting members including: Professor Yu-Chi (Larry) Ho, (Gordon McKay Research Professor of System Engineering and T. Jefferson Coolidge Research Professor of Applied Mathematics, Harvard University. Member of US National Academy of Engineering, Foreign Member of Chinese Academy of Science and Chinese Academy of Engineering, and IEEE Life Fellow, Chair Professor, Tsinghua University) and Professor Jian Song, (Former President of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Member of Chinese Academy of Science, Foreign Member of US National Academy of Engineering, Adjunct Professor, Tsinghua University) as Chief Scientists; Professor Xiaohong Guan (Cheung Kong Professor of Systems Engineering and Director of National Lab for Manufacturing Systems, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Adjunct Professor, Tsinghua University) as Director; Professor Peter B. Luh (SNET Professor of Communications and Information Technologies and Director of Taylor L. Booth Center for Computer Applications and Research, University of Connecticut, IEEE Fellow, Visiting Professor, Tsinghua University); Professor Xi-Ren Cao (Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Director of Network Research Center, Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, IEEE Fellow, Visiting Professor, Tsinghua University); Professor Wei-Bo Gong (Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Massachusetts, IEEE Fellow, Visiting Professor, Tsinghua University); Professor Houmin Yan (Professor in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Visiting, Professor, Tsinghua University).

CFINS is recruiting permanent faculty members of all levels. The applicants must have Ph.D. degree in the relevant fields (control and systems engineering, computer science and engineering, communication engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, etc), can communicate and teach in Chinese or English fluently, and satisfy the other faculty member requirements of Tsinghua University. Those with background in the above research themes are considered with priority but exceptionally outstanding applicants are not limited by their current research interests. Applicants' publications in high quality international journals and interest in pursuing theoretical research motivated by practical applications are highly valued.
