IEEE Technical Committee on Discrete Event Systems

Welcome to the Technical Committee on Discrete Event Systems (DESTC), a part of the IEEE Control Systems Society Technical Activities Board. The DESTC was established on June 1, 1999, and subsumes the activities of the Working Group on Discrete Event Systems.

The DESTC aims to promote communication between DES researchers, scholars, students, and practitioners. We encourage participation by submitting contributions (announcements, articles, etc.) to the monthly newsletter.

To submit contributions to the newsletters, click here. Submissions must be in plain text, no HTML formatting. Submissions made by the 15th of the month, should appear in that month's newsletter.

It is the responsibility of the contributor to ensure that they have the necessary permissions/clearance required for the transmittal of their news item.
